About us

In 2008, the company was founded as a technical development office in Imst. A year later, it began its own production of stamped parts, bent parts and cable accessories in a rented warehouse in Ötztal-Bahnhof.

The customer base has grown steadily and now includes highly renowned industrial companies both at home and abroad (A1 Telekom, ÖBB, Magna, Miele, Daimler-Chrysler, ZKW). A large number of commercial clients also place their trust in Pohl Metall’s technical expertise and high-quality metal products.

A further step in the company’s development followed in 2014 with the opening of its own premises in the industrial estate at Ötztal-Bahnhof. Extensive processing capabilities are now available, including stamping, bending, tube bending, wire bending, the assembly of sub-assemblies and cable accessories.

Finishing is also carried out in-house – degreasing via ultrasonic cleaning, sandblasting, annealing up to 650° and special coatings for high-temperature applications round off the range of services.

A key added benefit for our customers is our in-house testing laboratory, where we can carry out component measurements using contour comparison, material analyses, hardness tests, and coating thickness and adhesion tests.

Material testing using X-ray and spark spectrometers is also mobile, meaning it can be carried out on-site at the customer’s premises for bulky components.
